“Red Devil 2024” is a remix of Imbolg‘s original version from The Sorrows album. The single debuted as the #4 most added and reached #17 on the Metal Contraband chart recently.

Imbolg is a New York City band founded by singer and guitar player Nate Dal Cais. Imbolg creates dark, melodic and often heavy sounds mixed with synthesizers in various music genres ranging from Gothic Metal to Punk and Old School Death Rock. Reminiscent of their main inspirations, including such artists as Type O Negative, the Misfits, Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost and The 69 Eyes.

The band takes its name from the Celtic pagan holiday, Imbolg (also spelled “Imbolc” or “Imbolic”) which is celebrated from February 1 through sundown February 2 to mark the transition from winter to spring.

Imbolg has been performing in various places in the United States, starting out at the famous CBGB’s 313 Gallery and more recently in Salem, MA, Providence, RI, Baltimore, DE, several cities in New Jersey and Connecticut and other landmarks including Astor Place in New York City for the annual Witchfest held every July. Imbolg has also played at Yasgur’s Farm, more commonly known as the site of the original Woodstock Festival.

Nate Dal Cais and the band have been hosting and appearing at Bravofest, a charity music festival for the past five years to support the Veterans, raising funds for Homes For Our Troops in Putnam, CT.

Imbolg have released two music videos for the songs “Paler Still” and “Red Devil” from their second album The Sorrows. The video for the album version of “Red Devil” features Tracy Nyxx and has over 103,000 views on YouTube.
